Yes, potentially. Reducing roof pitch to 12 or 13 degrees will help get whole module onto a truck.

This design is suitable for a wide range of opportunities from off-grid living or short term ‘cabin’ accommodation through to the budget conscious Tiny Home builder.

You could park it out the back of some rural acreage, overlooking the some radiant location, or you could build it in your backyard for your kids to resolve the rental crisis!

The drawings and supporting images supplied with this design illustrate a sleek, modern dwelling contained within a compact but stylish building form.

Whilst similar to Cabin-ette 1 and also featured amongst our cabin series, this immaculately designed Tiny Home is conceived so that each of the spaces really packs a punch.

At 12.5m x 4.38m (excluding external fixtures, decking etc) the footprint is small enough to suit prefabrication and road transport but the internal volume is large enough to comfortably accommodate one of the many uses that you’re smart enough to dream up.

This module is resolved with minimal compromise on ergonomics or functionality. Each space has been maximised to its full potential, allowing a sense of ‘normal’ dimensions that might be associated with a larger scale home.

Commonly, cabins hinder occupant usability because they ignore important ergonomic considerations. The most common problems associated with cabins are an outcome of poor spatial planning that result in the shrinking of basic utility spaces.

Commonly, we associate uncomfortable, cramped spaces with this type of building module but we’ve made the dimensions of our cabins user friendly so that you don’t feel like you’re living in a caravan.

Crucially, the bathroom is full sized and is intended to include a stepless shower arrangement, which means that so long as you can provide a flat/ level entry to your front door and other bathroom dimensions comply with Australian Livable Housing Standards, you’ll have a wheelchair accessible bathroom.

Living Area including kitchen: 4.9 x 3.67m +

As with each of our designs, our documentation contains many of the main components required to obtain planning and building approvals whilst leaving scope for flexibility.

We take the heavy lifting out of the design and documentation process whilst leaving creative opportunities for the resolution of the finer details.
